Giving Up on Your Daily J Plan Is Not an Option
Let’s be real. Some mornings you wake up and feel like you’ve aged 10 years overnight. Your sleep was rubbish, your mood’s all over the place, and your body just feels… different.
And on those days? The last thing you want to do is move.
But this is exactly why you can’t give up, You have to get up, kick your own butt and move.
Because what you’re going through isn’t just “a phase.” It’s real. It’s physical. It’s emotional. And it can feel like your body is no longer yours. But it is — and showing up for it now matters more than ever.
The realisation is no one cares if you don’t do it, no one cares if you moan or feel sorry for yourself. You have to take action.
The Daily J isn’t about smashing PBs or chasing perfection.
It’s about taking control of your health one day at a time — on the messy days, the moody days, the “nothing fits” days.
This stage of life is full-on. Between hormones, hot flashes, sleepless nights, family, work — it’s easy to put yourself last.
But here’s the truth:
You’re not being selfish for making yourself a priority.
You’re being smart.
You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to keep showing up. Because when you move, you feel stronger. When you fuel properly, your energy comes back. When you stay consistent, you feel like you again.
This is your reset.
This is your reminder that you’re not done — not even close.
You’ve still got so much strength in you.
And we’re doing this together.
Giving up is not an option.
Not now. Not here.
This is your Daily J.
And we’re just getting started
Huge love and high 5’s,
Johno
Yes yes yes! Absolutely epic!
This sums up my current mood, I’m usually Mr Positive, but some days you wake up and question where is that person I used to be, who is looking back at me from the mirror. Yes the aging process isn’t easy, it isn’t for the faint hearted, some days you just want to pull the duvet up bury your head in the pillow and wish the day away. The Daily J is the one place that reminds me we are not alone, everyone is battling there on demons, illness, injury, family issues, but understand linger we are alone and having people reach out to check on you and support you makes the difference. The Daily J isn’t just about the exercise and nutrition ( which is world class and the best instructors in the world) it is the support from people you have never met, the realisation that you matter, it reminds you to get up and move, to care for others and care for yourself.
Well said, this is how I feel more often than not. Still struggle to prioritize me, needed this reminder.
