Sometimes life throws punches that feel impossible to recover from. And sometimes, it throws two at once.

Right now, two remarkable people — Ryan and Nix Walsh — are in a battle that no family should ever have to face. At the same time. Side by side.

Ryan is fighting Stage 3 Melanoma, with complications in his lymphatic system.
Nix has been diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer — one of the most aggressive and relentless forms of cancer there is.

They are not statistics. They are parents. Partners. Fighters. And they’re doing everything in their power to hold it all together — for themselves, for each other, and most importantly, for their two young daughters.

In the middle of all this chaos, uncertainty, and pain, they made a powerful decision — they joined the Daily J.

But the truth is, they cannot do this alone.

Medical aid and personal savings are covering what they can — chemotherapy, surgeries, scans, specialists. But the critical treatment both Ryan and Nix need — immunotherapy — is not covered.

Immunotherapy is a breakthrough cancer treatment that works by activating the body’s own immune system to find and destroy cancer cells. It’s often more targeted than chemotherapy, with fewer side effects — and in cases like this, it can be life-saving.

But the cost?
